Seems this well timed fiasco regarding NZ’s largest company is aimed at tightening NZ’s food laws to be in line with the tyrannical measures in the USA without having to be sociability accountable politically for following the lead of another nation rather than forging their own.
Fonterra has been accused of covering up a botulism contamination that occurred in one of it’s Whey products, this happened over 12 months ago and has continently surfaced now as the NZ government and Leader comes under fire for allowing US spy programs to spy on New Zealanders in violation of their rights. Even Media reporters were spied on by the NZ government’s spy agency in an attempt to see where they were obtaining their information from.
It seems the same spy agency involved spied on Fonterra also and leaked to the government and the Chinese government about the potential contamination cover-up as a mechanism of drawing public attention away from illegal spying. The NZ media had been like a dog with a favourite bone once they realized they themselves were being spied on and a larger story of national importance was required to capture the Media and public attention.
Looks like all those leaks from the NZ GCSB to the public are far from being plugged.
